Liquid Oxygen Plant

The small-scale cryogenic air separation plant adopts a low-pressure process and extracts pure oxygen and pure nitrogen from the air by deep freezing and rectification. That is, the air is liquefied by the principle of the turbo expander refrigeration cycle, according to the different boiling points of liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen. , The second rectification is carried out in the fractionation tower, so as to obtain 99.6% purity oxygen and 99.99% purity nitrogen. According to needs, some liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and medical oxygen can be produced by changing the operation. In addition, we also have industrial oxygen generators, PSA nitrogen generators, household oxygen generators, face mask making machines, meltblown production lines, PE glove making machines, etc. Contact us now to know more details. 【WhatsApp/WeChat/Phone/Skype】+86 136 1385 6800

Industrial Air Separation Plant:

The industrial equipment separates each component gas in the air to produce oxygen, nitrogen, and argon (or other rare gases). Air separation equipment is a complete set of unit equipment and parts. It is mainly composed of air filters, air compressors, air pre-cooling systems, molecular sieve purifiers, circulating compressors, plate heat exchangers, rectification towers and cold storage boxes, expanders, oxygen compressors, and nitrogen compressors.

Process Flow:

  1. Air compressor: The air is compressed to 0.5Mpa~0.7Mpa by the air compressor.
  2. Pre-cooling: The air is pre-cooled to 5℃~10℃ in the pre-cooling unit, and the moisture is separated.
  3. Purification: The remaining moisture, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons are cleared from the air and purified by a molecular sieve.
  4. Air expansion: The air expands in the expander to provide the cooling capacity required by the refrigeration device.
  5. Heat exchange: The air exchanges heat with the refluxing oxygen, nitrogen, and dirty nitrogen in the main heat exchanger of the fractionation tower, and the cooled dirty nitrogen is reheated to ambient temperature.
  6. Subcooling: Liquid air and liquid nitrogen are subcooled by nitrogen and polluted nitrogen in the sub-cooler.
  7. Distillation: Air is rectified and separated in the lower tower, and the product nitrogen is obtained at the top of the upper tower and obtained in the upper tower.

Liquid Air Separation Equipment/Liquefaction Equipment Feature:

  1. Compared with gas air separation equipment, liquid air separation equipment, and liquefaction equipment require more cooling capacity.
  2. According to the different outputs of liquid air separation equipment, we use a variety of different refrigeration cycle processes: turbocharger expansion refrigeration, low-temperature pre-cooler refrigeration, cycle compressor high and low-pressure expansion, expansion refrigeration, etc. There are many ways to achieve the goal of reducing energy consumption.
  3. The control system adopts DCS or PLC control system and puts it into on-site instrumentation so that the whole set of equipment is easy to operate, stable, and reliable.

Air Separation Method:

Adsorption method: Use a molecular sieve to selectively adsorb different molecules to achieve the final separation purpose.

Membrane separation method: Using membrane permeation technology, the difference in the rate of oxygen and nitrogen passing through the membrane is used to achieve coarse separation of the two components.

Cryogenic method: A method to achieve the separation of different components through compression, pre-cooling, purification, heat exchange, and distillation using the different boiling points of the components in the air.
